Masovia is Poland's largest region, centred on Warsaw, and the most urbanised. But it is not just the capital — Kampinos National Park (right next to Warsaw), the Kurpie Forest, the Vistula Valley, Żelazowa Wola (Chopin's birthplace), Niepokalanów, Pułtusk and Ciechanów are all campervan-worthy. Warsaw itself has several camper parkings on the outskirts (Bielany, Mokotów, Włochy) with direct public transport to the Old Town. The region is well connected — A2 (Berlin–Warsaw–Moscow), S7 (Gdańsk–Warsaw–Kraków), S8 (Wrocław–Warsaw–Białystok) — which makes it a natural hub for campervan travellers planning onward trips. Campsites are few near Warsaw itself (Mazurek in Mrozy, Astur in Góra Kalwaria) but more plentiful along the Bug, Narew and Pilica rivers. Rates: 70–130 PLN per night at a campsite, 60–100 PLN at a Warsaw camper parking. Kampinos — Europe's largest national park right next to a capital city — has designated bivouac spots; check the Lasy Państwowe ”Sleep in the forest” programme for legal wild camping outside the park. Masovia is an ideal weekend-with-Warsaw region, but plan carefully — weekends fill up.

Warsaw has camper parkings on the outskirts (Bielany, Mokotów, Włochy) — 20–40 minutes by tram, metro or bus to the centre. Do not try to park in the strict centre — paid zones, underground car park height limits, narrow Old-Town streets.
Warsaw camper parkings — 60–120 PLN per night. Campsites on the outskirts (Góra Kalwaria, Pruszków, Mrozy) — 70–130 PLN. Budget for public transport too: 15 PLN day pass.
Not inside Kampinos NP; the park has designated bivouac spots but not for campervans. In the surrounding state forests, the ”Sleep in the forest” programme allows two nights in designated areas (free). Alternatively, use campsites just outside the park (Palmiry, Łomianki).
Use Masovia as a hub: weekend in Warsaw + Żelazowa Wola (Chopin's house) + Kampinos. Alternative: Warsaw – Pułtusk – Treblinka – Białowieża (Podlasie). Or along the Vistula: Warsaw – Góra Kalwaria – Kazimierz Dolny (Lublin region).
Cassette dump stations are available at camper parkings and campsites in Warsaw and the surrounding area (Bielany, Włochy, Góra Kalwaria). On the A2 (Warsaw–Poznań) and S7 (Warsaw–Kraków) — at selected service areas. Full list on the map.
