Truma D6E heating for winter comfort
The Truma D6E is an industrial-grade diesel heater that runs on fuel from the vehicle's main tank. It generates up to 6 kW of heating power — enough to keep the campervan at 20-25°C even in the harshest Polish winter. The system is thermostatically controlled — set your desired temperature and forget about it. It consumes approximately 0.2 litres of diesel per hour, meaning a full tank provides hundreds of hours of heating. No electricity needed, no gas bottles to run out, no cold surprises at 3 AM. Just set it and sleep comfortably all night.
NYE campervan — FAQ
- How many days should I rent the campervan for New Year's?
- We recommend a minimum of 4-5 nights — pick up on December 29th or 30th, return on January 2nd or 3rd. This gives you time to reach your chosen destination, celebrate NYE in peace, and have a recovery day on New Year's Day. Many customers combine NYE with winter holidays and rent for 7-10 days.
- Is it warm enough in the campervan on New Year's Eve?
- Very warm! The Truma D6E heating maintains 20-25°C inside even at -15°C outside. It runs on diesel from the tank — no electricity needed and it won't run out during the night. Welcome the New Year in a warm campervan, then step outside for the fireworks.
- Where is the best place to spend NYE in a campervan?
- Three top options: 1) Zakopane/Białka Tatrzańska area — mountain atmosphere, snow, local NYE parties. 2) Baltic coast — romantic silence, sound of waves, fireworks over the sea. 3) Masuria — frozen lakes, bonfires, fireworks echoing across the ice. Each option is unique.
- Can I set off fireworks near the campervan?
- We recommend watching fireworks from a safe distance. If you want to set off your own — do so at a safe distance from the campervan (at least 50 metres) and mind the awning. Many towns organise firework displays that you can watch from the campervan — it's a safer and more comfortable option.
