Dog-friendly campervan

Travel with your dog stress-free. MAN TGE with dedicated dog space, crash-tested harness, anchor points. Formula 2+1. From 500 PLN/day.

Formula 2+1 β€” 2 people + 1 dog

Our campervan is designed for two adults and one dog. Dedicated space under the bed for your dog, crash-tested harness anchor points, easy-to-clean surfaces. Your dog is not a problem β€” it's a welcome member of the crew. No extra charges for furry passengers.

Why a campervan is perfect for dog owners

Anyone who has tried to book a hotel with a dog knows the struggle. β€œSorry, no pets allowed.” β€œDogs accepted in selected rooms for an extra 100 PLN per night.” β€œMaximum 10 kg weight limit.” The restrictions turn what should be a joyful holiday planning experience into a frustrating search. With a campervan, that problem simply vanishes. Your campervan is your space β€” your dog is always welcome, always comfortable, always with you.

A campervan gives your dog the best possible travel experience. Instead of being cooped up in a hotel room while you eat breakfast downstairs, your dog wakes up in the forest with you, goes for a morning walk along a lake, and watches you cook breakfast from its favourite spot. The routine stays normal β€” and a normal routine means a happy, relaxed dog.

Our MAN TGE campervan has practical features that dog owners will appreciate. The space under the 140x200 bed creates a natural den for your dog β€” sheltered, dark, and secure, exactly how many dogs prefer to sleep. Anchor points in the living area let you secure a crash-tested harness for safe driving. The vinyl flooring is scratch-resistant and easy to clean β€” muddy paws are not a crisis, just a quick wipe. The outdoor awning creates a shaded outdoor area where your dog can rest while you cook or relax.

Poland has extraordinary nature for dog adventures. Vast forests where your dog can run off-leash, clean lakes for swimming, empty beaches for chasing waves. The Drawsko Lake District (30 minutes from our base) is a particular favourite among our dog-owning customers β€” dozens of quiet forest paths, crystal-clear lake access, and virtually no other people during weekdays. Your dog can be a dog, not a prisoner on a short leash in a hotel corridor.

Travelling in a campervan also eliminates the stress of mealtimes. With hotels, you need to find dog-friendly restaurants or leave your dog in the room (which most hotels forbid). With a campervan, you cook in your own kitchen with your dog at your feet. No searching for restaurants that accept pets, no worrying about your dog alone in an unfamiliar room, no rushing through meals.

Tips for travelling with a dog in a campervan

Stop every 2-3 hours during driving for a walk, water, and toilet break. This keeps your dog comfortable and reduces stress. Our favourite spots along common routes are noted in the info pack we provide.

Bring your dog's own bedding and a familiar toy β€” the scent of home helps them settle in a new environment faster. The under-bed space becomes their den within the first night if it smells like their usual sleeping spot.

Stick to your dog's normal feeding schedule as much as possible. Feed in the campervan at the same times as at home. Carry extra water β€” dogs drink more when travelling, especially in warmer weather. The campervan's fresh water tank holds plenty, but having a bottle of water accessible in the cab during driving is important.

Check tick activity for your destination β€” Poland's forests are beautiful but ticks are common from March to November. Use your regular tick prevention treatment and check your dog after every forest walk. We recommend carrying a tick removal tool in your dog's first aid kit.

FAQ

Dog-friendly campervan β€” FAQ

Can I really bring my dog in the campervan?
Yes, absolutely! We are one of the few rental companies in Poland that actively encourage travelling with dogs. Our campervan is prepared for four-legged passengers β€” dedicated space under the bed, anchor points for harnesses, easy-to-clean surfaces. Formula 2+1: 2 people + 1 dog.
How big a dog can travel in the campervan?
The space under the bed comfortably fits dogs up to Labrador/Golden Retriever size (~35 kg). Larger dogs (e.g., German Shepherds) also travel with us β€” they simply settle on the floor between seats or in the sleeping area. There is no weight limit β€” what matters is comfort for both dog and passengers.
Is there an extra charge for dogs?
We do not charge extra for dogs. All we ask is a thorough clean after your trip β€” vacuuming fur and cleaning the dog's space. If the campervan returns in a state requiring professional cleaning (e.g., mud, sand in upholstery), we may deduct the cleaning cost from the deposit.
What documents do I need to travel with a dog abroad?
For EU travel, your dog needs: an up-to-date health booklet with rabies vaccination record (valid at least 21 days before departure), an EU pet passport (issued by a veterinarian), and a microchip. We also recommend third-party liability insurance for your dog abroad β€” just in case.
Where can I go wild camping with a dog in the campervan?
Poland is a paradise for travelling with dogs. The Drawsko Lake District forests (30 min from base) β€” perfect for off-leash running. Tuchola Forest β€” kilometres of forest paths. Baltic beaches off-season β€” dogs can run on the beach. Bieszczady Mountains β€” wild mountains without crowds. We'll recommend the best dog-friendly spots on your route.
