Wrocław is a city of bridges and a hundred footbridges, the capital of Lower Silesia and one of Poland's most beautiful cities. For campervan travellers it is a convenient, accessible destination — despite the Clean Transport Zone introduced in October 2025 covering the Old Town and Nadodrze district, camper parkings lie just outside the zone and are easy to reach. The most popular are Camper Park and AZS AWF campsite by the Olympic Stadium (3 km from the Market Square, tram 17), Camp-Wroc and Odra.Camp — riverside sites with a genuine camper atmosphere. Wrocław is an excellent springboard — 80 km to the Karkonosze (Karpacz, Szklarska Poręba), 100 km to the Kłodzko Valley and the Table Mountains National Park, 180 km to Prague in the Czech Republic. In the city, we recommend quiet evenings on Ostrów Tumski, a walk across the bridges lit in amber, and a trip to the zoo with Europe's largest Afrarium.
