Warsaw is Poland's largest metropolitan area and a challenging but feasible destination for campervan travellers. The capital has no classic campsite in the strict city centre — overnight camper spots are concentrated on the outskirts, near the Vistula river and major outbound routes. The most popular options cluster around the Grota-Roweckiego Bridge, campsites in Wilanów and Gocław districts, and camper parkings along the S17 (Lublin), S7 (Gdańsk) and A2 (Terespol) motorways. Warsaw enforces a Clean Transport Zone (CTZ) — campervans meeting Euro 5 or higher can enter without restrictions, but check local rules before travelling. Several verified dump stations and water points operated by camper-service shops are located in Mokotów and Praga. From Warsaw you have an excellent springboard in every direction — to Masuria (200 km), the Baltic Sea (350 km), the Tatras (400 km) or Podlasie. For visiting Warsaw in a campervan, we recommend staying on the outskirts and using public transport — it is far more comfortable than manoeuvring a large vehicle around the Old Town.
