Getting to Warsaw
The easiest way to reach Warsaw by campervan is via the A2 motorway from the west (Poznań, Berlin) or the S8 expressway from Białystok. From the south runs the S7 (Kraków, Radom), and from the east the A2 (Terespol). The city is surrounded by the S2/S8 ring road — it lets you bypass the centre's traffic. Short-term camper parking is possible at outer transport hubs and shopping centres (Galeria Mokotów, Blue City), but for overnight stays we recommend dedicated camper parkings.
Frequently asked about Warsaw
Where can I park a campervan in Warsaw?
The best options are campsites and camper parkings on the outskirts — near the Grota Bridge, Wilanów and Gocław districts. There are no parking options for vehicles over 3.5 t in the strict centre, so we recommend staying on the outskirts and using the metro or trams.
Is there a Clean Transport Zone in Warsaw?
Yes — since July 2024 Warsaw has enforced a CTZ covering most of the centre. Diesel campervans must meet Euro 4 (2015+) and eventually Euro 5 standards. Modern campervans like the MAN TGE meet these requirements.
How much does an overnight campervan stay cost in Warsaw?
Outskirt campsites charge 80–140 PLN per night (with power and cassette dump). Camper parkings without full infrastructure run 40–80 PLN. Book ahead in peak summer.
Where is the nearest cassette dump station in Warsaw?
Warsaw has several verified dump stations — mostly at camper-service shops in Mokotów and Praga (e.g. Warszawskie Centrum Caravaningu, CamperyASONE) and at the Gocław and Wilanów campsites. Most also offer fresh water refill.
Is it worth visiting Warsaw in a campervan?
Warsaw is exceptional for sightseeing — Old Town, Łazienki Park, the Warsaw Uprising Museum. The most comfortable approach is to stay on the outskirts and explore the centre by metro, buses and trams.
