Masuria — the Land of a Thousand Lakes — is one of the most popular campervan destinations in Poland. The Great Masurian Lakes (Śniardwy, Niegocin, Mamry, Nidzkie and Jezioro Roś) form an interconnected waterway linking Giżycko, Mikołajki, Ruciane-Nida and Węgorzewo. Most campsites open in late April or early May and the high season runs from mid-June to the end of August.
